Battlefield Earth. Saw it in the theater (there were maybe seven other people in the whole theater), laughed my ass off the whole way through. Very entertaining, though not for the reasons the producers had hoped.

Trick or Treat. It is, by a wide margin, the worst movie I've ever seen. When bad things happen to the main character, it just makes you wish for more bad things to happen to him. It's fantastic and terrible. Great Halloween movie.

Roadhouse. But it’s so bad good that I don’t hate myself at all.

I am a huge fan of very bad studio movies, yet I can’t bring myself to watch Battlefield Earth. You are talking to someone who watched all 219 minutes of Heaven’s Gate - on purpose. You are talking to someone who, on Bad Movie Birthday (that’s another story) watched Sucker Punch, Red Riding Hood, and Battleship in the same day .

Oh, Battlefield Earth is SOOOO worth it, though. The overacting is frigging delightful, and the terrible slang too.

I am one of the few people on the planet that hasn’t seen it, but I know there’s an homage to it in a James Bond movie (Licence to Kill) and yes, Timothy Dalton was asked to do a 3rd movie, and I wish he would have, but litigation over the Blofeld story meant he had to move on with his career.

The Room.
Imagine a Polish immigrant who made his fortune through shady means trying his hardest to write and direct an American film despite having a middling grasp of English.
It works best if you watch it with a group of friends.

Ohhh shit. My buddy Wil kept pestering me to watch it, pestering, pestering. You’ll laugh, he said!
102 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.
No, I did not laugh. And I became more bound to my rule - no comics in fat suits, ever. And I’m looking at you Mrs. Doubtfire!

Yeah, that was kinda dumb, especially when they chained themselves to a bar and the tornado passed over them.

It’s pretty weird. Really immature, so naturally I liked it. Showed it to my friends and they all had to burn their eyes out afterwards, but enjoyed it to an extent.

The plot and the acting are terrible and the special effects aren’t holding up well over time, but I still love it.

Having read the book, I really wanted the movie to be good. I cannot forgive them for what they did.

That was piping that fed deep into the ground, so there was no chance the tornado would pick it up.
However, they weren't hit by any debris during that scene, so I call bullshit.

And I call bullshit on a movie that Sean Bean is in where he doesn’t die ... (cough cough, Jupiter Ascending, cough ... (piece of shit)).

Clones wasn’t bad, Sith was a bit better, and Phantom Menace was an abortion. For all of the prequels, give me an Avid and a couples days on each movie and I could get the running times down under 120 minutes. Which they all needed to be. And (feel free to trash me) in one way at least Return of the Jedi was the worst. Star Wars was made for coffee and donuts - Lucas had no money. He had money for Empire, and it showed. But Return looked like shit and featured tiny furry protagonists clearly designed to sell figures and toys. The Ewoks ruined that movie.
